Introducing Systems ReArchitected

Architecting Systems, Systems ReArchitected, and the flow of knowledge.

It’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me. I’m glad you’re still here.

A lot has happened since the last time I wrote you.

Three years ago, I was riding in an Uber along the coast of Croatia, the Adriatic Sea sparkling like a Seattle vampire. A word was repeating in my mind:

Publish.

And then …

The challenges have been unrelenting.

  • I published Learning Systems Thinking with O’Reilly.
  • Traveled the world, giving talks and workshops.
  • Delivered a long-term, challenging project.
  • Built new teams.
  • Designed my own publishing system.

Meanwhile ...

I made every rookie mistake.

Overcommitting. Ghosting my writing. Saying yes to too much. Launching more than I could maintain.

Getting sick. Getting better. Starting again.

And yet ...

The intensity sharpened my skills. My mistakes revealed the mindsets that no longer work. And I discovered the kind of impact I actually want to make.

Now?

I’m settling into a new normal. One that is both steadier and, if I'm honest, still a bit scary.

Publish, indeed.

What’s changing

This year, I'm embracing a simple truth: I'm a human with finite capacity.

So I’m focusing on what matters most:

Less frantic expansion and scattered launches. More sustained attention.

Onward, together?

Systems ReArchitected is for people navigating complexity — who want to explore ways to design and deliver systems that generate actual intelligence.

Not with a framework or a single tool -- with practices that delivers smart systems.

As always, it's for people trying to have real impact, rather than just fix bugs.

If this resonates with you, I'd love to continue this journey together.

Well met -- may your journey be filled with reasonable people doing difficult things together,

Diana
